It’s almost time to play bikes!

Exciting times here at Advanced Recess. We are kicking our love for riding bikes into high gear and are putting together our very own cycling kits with our friends at Alé. Our goal with these kits are to bring a spirit of play to our bike rides. Saying hi to people, riding with a sense of joy, exploring, stopping to take in the beauty and simply appreciating our time to connect with nature and others through something we love. And, we want to see our kits on the road, in the woods, at the cross park, along a gravel road and so forth. Whether you identify as a roadie, a gravel enthusiast, a hardcore MTBer: we believe there is deep goodness in adding play to our lives. To us this means really disconnecting from the parts of life that overwhelm or add stress and hectic-ness to our life and truly taking time to PLAY. So, let’s get to it!!

We will be launching the kit store in a couple weeks and we want our community to be part of selecting our first kit. So, below are two choices and we’ll be eager to hear from you on what you think! All people have an equal voice and we’ll go with the favorite. Here they are:

We like both of them and we hope you do, too! But, we are likely only to create our store with one of them so we really want to ensure we get as much feedback as possible for what we’ll go with! As we get our AR cycling collection going, we’ll start with the basics: jerseys, bibs and a wool winter jersey. Woot!
