Badass at Play
Growing up in Staten Island, NY, I did not have much access to outdoor adventures off the pavement. I didn't try camping until I was 21! Then 9/11 hit, and after working for years in Manhattan, I began traveling and working around the world. Australia, Greece, Italy. Once I discovered San Diego, California though, I knew it would be home. Now I make it a habit to have at least one adventure each day.
High Alpine Play
My ideal day is spent on high alpine trails in the summer way above tree line, linking together seldom traveled trails to make an epic route. All I need to have a perfect day is: an equally adventurous friend, a pack filled with snacks, a water filter, and zero cell service.
