Good storytelling - that’s a form of play in itself and Jen Agan is truly so gifted when it comes to telling a story. Be it about bikes, community,  activism, art, travel or a host of other topics. Jen is a curious soul, always open to discovery which set the tone of her living a very playful life. As the pandemic and this past year’s social issues reconstructed our lives and time, Jen took the helm in creating unique content, engaging conversations and found new ways to continue to connect with the cycling community. Jen is a real gem, I’m thankful to know her and to call her a friend and also to be receiving a frequent dose of her spirit of play...one great story at a time

Here’s more with Jen:

Describe a little about yourself:

Mother. Product/Production Management. Fitness Adventure Seeker. Storyteller. Mid-40's year young - I believe it's important to look at life through the philosophy of what can go right - not what can go wrong.

What do you do for play?

I'm a thinker - a tinkerer. I like anything adventure. Creating stories - connecting with others and - sharing stoke and inspiring those along with me. I like to get out pedal the bicycle and run, too.

When you think of your ideal day spent playing, what is it?

Waking up. Favorite brekkie. Cup of coffee. Yoga then bike ride. A very long wonderful fun ride in the summer sun. End the day with great recovery - friends - food.

Our motto is Pursue a Life of Play. In your own words, what does this mean to you? How do you live it?

Life is temporary. I think play and success should be in the same paragraph. Too often success is paired with hard work and sacrifice - while hard work is of value - Pursue a Life of Play is part of self-care and that’s truly part of achieving success.
